Spending the winter in Dubai? Save one evening for Global Village. You can walk through country pavilions, eat things you’ve never tried, pick up small gifts and catch a live show. All in one place. It’s big though, so a little planning helps.
Season 31 opens on Wednesday 14 October 2026 and runs until May 2027. Below you’ll find tickets, timings, new attractions and how to get there.
The gates open at 6 PM on Wednesday 14 October. That’s opening night. The season then runs for more than seven months until May 2027.
You don’t need a whole day. Most people go in the evening and wander through a few pavilions. Then food. Then a show. But the place is huge, and walking between sections takes longer than you’d think. Plan some extra time.
Dates can shift, so check the official website before you go.
Tickets cost Dh25 on weekdays and Dh30 on weekends (Friday to Sunday) and public holidays. That’s the same price as last season. There’s one change though.
| Ticket | Price |
|---|---|
| Weekday (Monday to Thursday) | AED 25 |
| Weekend (Friday to Sunday) and public holidays | AED 30 |
Last season a weekday ticket was valid from Sunday to Thursday. This season Sunday counts as a weekend. One guide also warns that the booking system can list Sunday under both categories, so check the date and price at checkout.
Children under three, seniors over 65 and People of Determination with one companion have received free entry under published terms. Season 31 conditions may differ, so confirm before you go.
The ticket doesn’t cover everything. Food, rides, games and shopping cost extra. You can buy tickets on the website, on the mobile app or at the gates. Stick to those. Gulf News warns that fake ticket sites pop up every season.
Before buying a ticket, check the latest prices and conditions on the official Global Village ticket page.
After opening night the gates open at 4 PM. Here’s the schedule:
| Day | Opening hours |
|---|---|
| Wednesday 14 October (opening night) | 6 PM onwards |
| Sunday to Wednesday | 4 PM to 12 AM |
| Thursday to Saturday and public holidays | 4 PM to 1 AM |
Tuesdays are for families, couples and ladies only, except on public holidays. Going with a group of friends? Check the rules first.
Nobody comes for just one thing. Some people come for food. Some come to shop. Plenty just wander. This season there are 29 pavilions, more than 200 attractions and over 250 dining options. And a big show programme too.
Start here. You’ll find crafts, clothing, accessories, cultural displays and local food. Sri Lanka gets its own pavilion this season, and Russia teams up with Azerbaijan.
Don’t rush through all 29. Pick a few that interest you. You’ll browse more slowly and probably find something you didn’t plan to buy.

The season has a programme of around 40,000 shows. That’s a lot. So look up the time of the one you want before you arrive. Otherwise you may turn up late or miss it entirely.
Carnaval is the amusement area. Rides and games cost extra. With kids, check age limits, height limits and safety rules before you choose.
A new roller coaster called Tokyo Rush is coming later this season, with sharp turns and a loop. No opening date has been announced yet. So don’t plan around it.

Snacks, desserts, full meals. The choice is huge. Share a few dishes with friends so you can try more. Prices vary by vendor. Allergies? Ask the vendor about ingredients first.
Stalls and menus change each season, so treat last year’s recommendations as a guide, not a promise.

Accessories, clothing, decor, crafts and souvenirs. Some people arrive with a list. Others just browse. Either works. Compare prices before you buy and set a budget if you’re shopping for several people.
Season 31 brings Tokyo Rush, new shows, new restaurants and a Kids Passport. There’s also a WhatsApp chatbot for information during your visit. The details of each addition can change, so check the app for updates.
Arrive near opening time. You get a head start on the pavilions before the crowd builds, and you still have time for food and a show.
Want it quieter? Go on a weekday. Weekends and public holidays get busier, especially around the popular rides and food areas.
Match your plan to your group. If you love the pavilions, you may skip most of Carnaval. If you’ve got kids, leave extra time for rides and breaks.
Global Village sits on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311). There’s no metro station right next to it, so you always need a bus or another ride for the last part.

Bus 102 runs from CentrePoint Metro Station and bus 104 from Ghubaiba Bus Station via Max Fashion Metro Station. Guides also list routes 103 and 106 as direct options from metro interchange stations. Buses can change. Check RTA before you travel, and look up the last bus home before you stay late.
Taxi or ride-hailing is the easy way, especially for families. On busy nights, give yourself extra time to find your pickup point. Follow the signs to the designated areas.
Free parking is available at P1, P3 and P5, about 400 to 450 metres from the gates. Paid Parking 2 costs Dh75 per day, standard paid parking costs Dh120 and VIP parking costs Dh200 per day. VIP parking is free for eligible VIP pack holders.
New this season: VIP parking can be paid at vending machines before you reach the exit. Dedicated spaces also exist for People of Determination, and Parking A is for A Sticker holders. Prices can change, so check the official page first.
You don’t need a plan for every minute. A rough idea of what you want to see is enough.
If you like food, shopping and culture, yes. You get pavilions, shows and new dishes without hopping between separate attractions. It also works for a relaxed evening with friends or family.
Cost depends on you though. Someone who buys a ticket and walks around spends far less than someone who shops, eats a full meal and tries several rides.
First time? Keep it flexible. Pick a few must-sees. Then leave room to wander.
